Global Gravel Adventures came to fruition during the pandemic summer months of 2021. Ross and Dave began reminiscing about a 50th birthday cycling adventure in the Pyrenees and Basque regions of Spain three years prior and decided it was time to show people the vast gravel cycling opportunities of the European continent starting in the spectacular verdant hills of Tuscany. In October of 2022 a small group of friends from Global Gravel Adventures headquarters in Telluride, Colorado assembled in Tuscany and set off on GGA’s very first gravel trip. The team had a fantastic week in the Val d'Orcia and Chianti Classico regions and were fortuitous enough to be led by Daniele Pelorossi from Pontidera, Tuscany. Daniele and a small group of fellow Tuscan guides will now be part of the Global Gravel team going forward in Tuscany and roads beyond.
Global Gravel Adventures strives to offer authentic and unique cycling experiences for all levels of riders. We’ve extensively researched and hand-picked our lovely hotels based on their uniqueness and high level of customer service along with superb amenities. We can offer private group trips and if there’s a region you would like to cylcle in which isn’t offered we would be more than happy to research the area and curate a trip of a lifetime for you and your group. We look forward to many miles of dirt and gravel in the future with this amazing co-op of guides and we very much look forward to having you join us on these wonderful two-wheel adventures.

Ross Dupuis
Hailing from the great state of Wisconsin, Ross has been an avid cyclist throughout the years. Being a 20 plus year resident of the Western Slope of Colorado he’s had years to explore the vast gravel and dirt roads that snake through the spectacular and remote mountain and desert ramparts of Southwest Colorado. Ross had spent plenty of time on a bike in Western Europe and recently finished bikepacking the grueling Colorado Trail solo.
